Shipping Information

We are continuing to experience service impacts due to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak. Transit times to your area may continue to be delayed. Please check your tracking information for your delivery date to ensure your wine is received on the first delivery attempt. A signature by an adult over the age of 21 is required upon delivery.

Summer / Winter shipping
Orders place June - September will be held for shipping until the weather cools in late October unless alternate shipping has been requested.
We are committed to getting your wine to you in the best condition possible. For this reason, orders traveling during the warm summer or freezing winter months will ship via a temperature-controlled truck and/or have ice packs included to ensure the wine stays at the optimal temperature during delivery.

Fall Release Shipping

We will begin shipping orders placed during the Fall Release on Friday October 22nd. See the shipping schedule below for state by state ship dates. Please note that UPS Ground with temperature-controlled services as needed will be the default shipping method unless FedEx services are requested prior to shipment. Add FedEx or GSO to the order notes if they are your preferred carrier and we will update your account. Expedited shipping is available, but you will be charged the standard shipping rates. Please add any special shipping requests to the notes section when you submit your order.

All shipping dates are subject to change due to weather, and customers will be emailed if there are any changes to their scheduled date. Temperature-controlled freight and/or cold-packs will be added as needed.

  • When shipping to a UPS store or FedEx location, please make sure that you have picked the correct shipping type to match the ship-to location. (UPS will not deliver to FedEx and vice versa)

  • In the warm summer and fall months, ground services may not be available.

  • Ice packs can be added to shipments as needed; additional charges apply.

  • Ice packs are not necessary for GSO, or AZ and TX Temp Control orders, as they travel via air-conditioned vehicles.

  • Temperature Controlled Shipping is available year-round to most states (except AK, CA, HI, ID, ND, NV, OR, WA, and WY). The wine travels on a temperature-controlled truck to the area hub and from there is released to a common carrier that delivers the wine to your location.

  • Temperature controlled trucks only leave on Fridays (and Wednesdays during busier months). Orders placed after 10:00 AM the day before the temp control truck is scheduled to leave will ship the following week. AZ and TX temp control trucks only leave on Fridays and generally deliver the following week.

  • To better anticipate the actual delivery date, common carrier tracking will be sent to the email address listed on the order once your order leaves our fulfillment house. For temperature control orders, the tracking information will be sent after it is processed at the regional shipping hub.

  • We care about your wines; the weather will be monitored and we will communicate any changes via email.

Martinelli Winery  is compliant with individual US state laws and currently direct ships off-site orders only to consumers in the following states: *Alabama (Only to an ABC store), Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma (Ships Directly from the Martinelli Winery), Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming. 

*Delaware, Kansas and Rhode Island allow orders placed on-site at the winery to be shipped, but do not allow the shipping of orders placed off-site (i.e. through our website, email or by telephone).
